OUR PROGRAM DIVEMASTER PADI COURSE

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take responsibility for diving activities. Through theoretical development sessions, in-water exercises, workshops, and hands-on assessments, you’ll develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of underwater activities.

Your instructor, together with Divemaster training and in order to help you meet all the requirements and expand your skills, could also offer you PADI Deep Diver and Search and Recovery Diver specialty courses Thanks to the Divemaster course,  you could get school credits.

PREREQUISITES AND MINIMUM AGE

Required age 18 years or older

Course prerequisites: Rescue Diver, 40 registered dives, CPR certification and First Aid within 24 months, medical authorization for diving.

  • The role and characteristics of a PADI Divemaster
  • Supervision underwater activities and assisting students
  • Diver safety and risk management
  • Programs conducted by a Divemaster and specialized skills
  • The diving business and your career
  • Awareness of the aquatic environment
  • Preparation and management of a dive
  • Mapping an open water site
  • Conduct dive briefings
  • Organize a search and recovery project and a deep dive
  • Conduct a scuba review and skin diver course
  • Assist Discover Scuba Diving and lead Discover Local Diving programs

Your instructor, together with divemaster training and in order to help you meet all the requirements and expand your skills, could also offer you specialty courses.

equipment

As a professional diver, you’ll want to have all your basic equipment, including a dive computer, an underwater knife, and at least two surface signaling devices. During practical exercises, such as underwater mapping and search/retrieval, you will use a compass, buoys, diving buoys, lifting balloons and blackboards. Your PADI instructor may recommend additional equipment that may be useful to you during your diving career.

price

The price of the PADI Divemaster course depends on the type of path you want to take and its duration. The minimum time required for the completion of the course is 3 weeks where the student will have to take care not only of the Divemaster course, but will have to learn how to manage a diving center, from the practical part to the logistic part.
